Meet Sydney. She is the definition of class and flawless beauty. She has no clue how beautiful she is, and that is possibly what makes her so beautiful. Girls like Sydney don’t come along every day. I have been all around and truly have only met a few “Sydneys” . Only until you meet one will you know what I am talking about.
Sydney is shy, reserved, smart, yet very personable and easy to get along with.
I can usually read my clients very well within the first 2 minutes of meeting them. I knew immediately it was going to be my job to make Sydney feel comfortable and open in front of the camera, or else I can’t do my job. Sydney was so great to work with and took direction easily and started to have fun with it after 10 minutes into the session. Sydney’s mom had already informed me that she was very laid back and wasn’t high maintenance and reassured me that my job would be easy. However, I don’t think they know how easy and satisfying it was for me.
I love new things, new clients, new places. If I said I didn’t get nervous before each and every session I do, I would be lying. I have a lot of pressure on my shoulders, not just from outsiders and people who would love to see me fail at the tip of a hat, but mostly from myself. I am a perfectionist. I am observant, I have high anxiety, and I put an extreme amount of pressure on myself. I am me.
If Sydney isn’t the most popular girl in school, its because she chooses not to be. If Sydney doesn’t have a boyfriend, its because she chooses not to. Sydney is a girl who is going to show up at her class reunion in 20 years and people are going to say “holy moly is that Sydney Tabor?!” They may not have noticed her in school, but rest assured, they will one day. I believe her accomplishments in life will be far beyond what anyone can see, and I only just met her. Sydney, keep doing what your doing. Set goals, love life, and love people, and keep reading.I had the best time shooting your session and it was yet another reassurance for me that I am doing exactly what I am meant to be doing. Not because the photos are great or anything that I did, but because it made my soul happy and that is why I do this. I grow a little more with each session and yours made my soul dance.
